Menufy pricing: what it costs a restaurant in 2026

Menufy costs $149 a month on a 12-month agreement or $179 month to month, plus 2.75% + 30¢ per order and a guest fee. What 100 to 1,000 orders cost.

Menufy charges a restaurant $149 a month on a 12-month agreement or $179 a month with no agreement. On top of that, Menufy’s own card processing costs 2.75% + 30¢ per order, and guests pay a convenience fee on each online order, which was $1.75 when we built two carts at a restaurant on Menufy on October 24, 2026. At 400 orders of $30 a month, the restaurant pays about $599 on the annual plan and its guests pay $700 in fees.

How much is Menufy per month?

Menufy sells one product on two terms. Its pricing page says both plans include the same features, with no tiers and no add-ons.

Plan Price Terms
Annual $149 a month 12-month agreement, billed monthly. Free equipment included
Month-to-Month $179 a month No agreement. Cancel anytime with no penalty; service ends at the monthly contract date

The annual plan saves $360 a year. Menufy also mentions an annual paid-in-full option with a bigger discount, but it does not publish that price, so you have to ask for it.

What does Menufy do for the monthly fee?

Menufy builds a branded ordering website for the restaurant, manages its domain and Google Business listing, and lets guests order from Google. Every plan includes automated email and text marketing after each order, a loyalty program and coupons, an AI tool that asks happy guests for Google reviews, chargeback protection, branded takeout inserts with QR codes, reporting, an onboarding specialist and a success manager who reviews results with you each month. Menufy says more than 25,000 independent restaurants use it.

Orders reach you by text, email, automated phone call, Menufy’s Android app on your own device, or a Menufy Android tablet, which Menufy offers for a small deposit. Payouts go to your bank by ACH daily, weekly, every other week or monthly, as you choose.

What fees does Menufy charge on each order?

Fee Who pays Amount
Card processing Restaurant 2.75% + 30¢ per order
Convenience fee (“Online fee”) Guest by default, or the restaurant if it chooses to cover it $1.75 per order at the restaurant we checked
DoorDash delivery through Menufy Restaurant 12.5% of the delivery order subtotal
DoorDash delivery fee Guest From $4.99
Uber delivery through Menufy Restaurant 12.5% of the delivery order subtotal
Uber delivery fee Guest From $3.99

Menufy’s pricing page says there are no per-order commissions, which is true for the restaurant. Guests still pay a fee on each order. Menufy’s help center explains how the convenience fee is collected, but neither the help center nor the pricing page gives the amount.

To see it, we put orders in the cart at Lone Jack Pizza Co in Missouri, a Menufy restaurant, on October 24, 2026, and stopped before paying. A $9.99 cart showed “Taxes & Fees $2.57,” which the checkout split into $0.82 of tax and a $1.75 convenience fee. A $49.98 cart showed $4.11 of tax and the same $1.75 fee. The fee did not change with order size, and the cart only shows it inside the combined “Taxes & Fees” line. We checked one restaurant, so ask Menufy what your guests would pay.

A restaurant can cover the fee itself; Menufy then bills it the fee instead of the guest. If a guest picks pay-in-store with cash, the restaurant collects the fee and Menufy deducts it from the next deposit.

Restaurants on Clover are billed differently. Menufy runs their online payments through Clover, so Menufy charges no processing fee and Clover’s own rates apply. Menufy’s fee shows up on the monthly Clover bill as a metered app charge. Menufy’s chargeback protection does not cover restaurants on Clover.

What does Menufy cost at 100, 400 and 1,000 orders a month?

Say every order is $30 and the guest pays the $1.75 convenience fee. Processing is 2.75% of $30 plus 30¢, or $1.125 an order. Menufy’s help article does not say whether tax, tips and the convenience fee count toward that 2.75%; if they do, processing comes out a little higher.

Orders a month Processing Restaurant total, annual ($149) Restaurant total, month to month ($179) Guests’ convenience fees
100 $112.50 $261.50 $291.50 $175
400 $450 $599 $629 $700
1,000 $1,125 $1,274 $1,304 $1,750

On the annual plan at 400 orders, the restaurant pays about $1.50 an order, or $7,188 for the year. If the restaurant covers the convenience fee for its guests, add the last column to its total: $1,299 a month at 400 orders.

How does Menufy compare with ChowNow?

ChowNow’s cheapest plan, Launch, starts at $229 a month billed annually ($249 monthly), with card processing of 2.95% + 29¢ and a one-time setup fee of $119 to $499. At 400 orders of $30, that is $699 a month for the restaurant, against $599 on Menufy’s annual plan. ChowNow charges diners no fee on orders from your own website (its 7.5% Support Local Fee applies only on the ChowNow App and eat.chownow.com), while guests at the Menufy restaurant we checked paid $1.75 each. Counting what the restaurant and its guests pay together at that $1.75 fee, Menufy costs more at that volume: $1,299 against $699. Our ChowNow pricing breakdown covers its three plans.

Is Menufy worth it?

Menufy suits a restaurant that wants a website, Google ordering, loyalty and marketing run for it by one company, and that may want delivery through DoorDash or Uber drivers without joining their marketplaces. The restaurant’s own cost is lower than ChowNow’s, and the month-to-month plan lets you leave without a contract for $30 more a month.

At the restaurant we checked, guests paid $1.75 on every order, which is about 18% of a $9.99 order and less than 4% of a $50 order. A restaurant with many small orders should weigh that, or budget to cover the fee itself.

Where Expresso fits

Expresso is online ordering with no monthly fee, no setup fee and no contract. Guests order pickup, curbside or scheduled orders from your link, or scan a QR code at the table. Orders ring on a kitchen tablet ($149 once). The restaurant pays 3.2% + 30¢ per order, guests pay a 2.5% convenience fee shown at checkout, and payouts go to your bank every week through Stripe.

On the same $30 order, the guest pays a 75¢ fee and the card is charged $30.75, so the restaurant pays $1.284. That is $128.40 at 100 orders, $513.60 at 400 and $1,284 at 1,000, and guests pay $75, $300 and $750 in fees. The restaurant’s own cost on Expresso is lower than on Menufy’s annual plan below about 937 orders a month and higher above it. Guests pay less on Expresso for orders under $70, where 2.5% stays below $1.75.

Expresso has no website builder, no loyalty program, no email or text marketing and no delivery, and it is not a POS. Promo codes are its discount tool. A restaurant that wants those run for it should pick Menufy or another bundled service. Our comparison of online ordering systems for restaurants puts Menufy, ChowNow, Toast, Square and others side by side.
